April Yamasaki is the author of Sacred Pauses, Four Gifts, This Ordinary, Extraordinary Life, and other books on living with faith and hope. She is an ordained minister with twenty-five years of experience in pastoral ministry, the editor of a daily devotional magazine, a spiritual formation mentor, and often speaks in churches and other ministry settings.
As Resident Author, she continues to work on her next book, writes online and in print, and shares in the life of Valley CrossWay Church. This includes speaking on Sunday mornings once a month and community-building involvements like managing the church Facebook page and website, co-hosting Zoom worship, and contributing to our newsletter.
